Your fans and followers should get a sneak peek at your new release before it is released. A great way to get their attention is to post a short 15-second clip of your track on social media or give them a glimpse at the album artwork.

To create amazing video teasers, you can use After Effects and Adobe Premiere. Start by creating an MP4 video clip and then laying some of your audio (perhaps the track’s hook?) over your artwork.

Your snippets and artwork can be as creative or simple as you like. Use the many features available on Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter. Stories, reels, polls and many more. These will all engage your audience and spark excitement around your next release.

Make sure to update your profile.

Your social media profiles and streaming platforms should be up-to-date with the latest artwork and press photos.

To promote your tracks, update your header images and pin your pre-save links to your profile. Some artists even change their Twitter names to reflect the release name and date.

Secure media coverage

A great PR campaign can help a track gain momentum and reach a wider audience.

Send your release to Soundcloud as a private Soundcloud link or unlisted YouTube video, and let everyone know.
